The Invitation at White Night - Brighton - 29th October
Picking up an invitation takes two girls into an unexpected world
where they meet the Alchemist who plans to trap them in her store
cupboard. But the Alchemist’s recipe for success turns to disaster
when Lucy tries to save her friend, and forces a dramatic escape.
Combining live action with projection and shadow puppetry, Antik
animates a building in a quiet side street with a dark tale for a long
dark night…..

A member of the audience got in touch after White Night with this lovely feedback:
Been meaning to write for ages.. Just wanted to say I came across Invitation at White Nights by accident when the friend I was with saw her friend and friend's daughter sitting on a cold pavement in New England Street with some others, staring at the old facade of a warehouse in quiet expectation.. and it turned out to be the best thing I saw that night! Still think about the magic it created and the smiles and slight tingles.. the combination of acting, voices, silhouettes, projections... Purely brilliant. Thank you to all involved and hope you do much more!! xx
